Nous avons eu le plaisir d’accompagner notre client dans la conception de son restaurant, Colette, situé à Bordeaux. Le brief initial était sommaire : imaginer un bar et un restaurant sur une surface de 400 m², en plein cœur d’un quartier dynamique, à la croisée d’écoles et de bureaux, mais encore peu pourvu en lieux de vie.
Nous avons donc pensé Colette comme un véritable refuge urbain : un lieu hybride, vivant et accueillant, conçu pour accompagner les rythmes de la journée et les envies de chacun. Travailler, partager une partie de jeux de société, boire un verre, assister à un concert ou savourer un repas… Ici, chaque moment trouve naturellement sa place.
L’identité du lieu s’est construite autour de la figure de Colette, femme aux mille vies et icône littéraire. Nous avons imaginé cet espace comme un décor de cinéma, déclinant différentes "scènes" inspirées des étapes de sa vie : la bibliothèque, le cabaret, le bar, le jardin… Le tout dans une ambiance néo-rétro chaleureuse et singulière.
De la conception à la livraison, nous avons accompagné notre client à chaque étape : définition du concept, répartition des volumes, réflexion technique et développement de l’identité globale du lieu.
We had the pleasure of supporting our client in the design of their restaurant, Colette, located in Bordeaux. The initial brief was minimal: to imagine a bar and restaurant spanning 400 m², right in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood, at the crossroads of schools and offices, yet still lacking in lively venues.
We envisioned Colette as a true urban refuge: a hybrid, vibrant, and welcoming place, designed to suit the rhythms of the day and the desires of each visitor. Work, play a board game, have a drink, attend a concert, or enjoy a meal… Here, every moment naturally finds its place.
The identity of the space was built around the figure of Colette, a woman of many lives and a literary icon. We imagined the space as a film set, unfolding into different "scenes" inspired by key stages of her life: the library, the cabaret, the bar, the garden… All brought together in a warm and distinctive neo-retro atmosphere.
From conception to delivery, we supported our client every step of the way: defining the concept, distributing the spaces, addressing technical considerations, and developing the venue’s overall identity.
